GALAXY Classroom
Movers and Shakers"The Maxapult"

While the kids at Grandpa's Garage busily explored the world around them, Teacher Universe was awarded a second Telly Award in 2001. Thanks to the explorations of Naomi, Max, Swoozie, Ming, and Alex, Teacher Universe has again distinguished itself amongst the very best in educational programming.

The "Telly" has become a much sought after award in the broadcast industry. This year, nearly 12,000 entries were received by the Telly Award committee. Categories for the Telly range from TV commercials to non-broadcast cable programs, and only the very best are chosen to receive an award. Only the top 15% of all entries were chosen as finalists.

In "The Maxapault", Naomi, Max, and Alex explored pulleys and levers. First, the kids came up with a way to lift a heavy safe to the top deck of the garage. Then, Max invented his very own "Maxapault" which can fling a ball the entire length of Grandpa's garage! Unfortunately, Naomi's little brother decided to play a prank, and leaves the kids "all wet."

By combining innovative technology, inquiry-based curricula, and award winning programming, Teacher Universe's GALAXY Classroom has once again placed itself amongst today's leaders in educational programs.
