PRAXIS
I ; for out of state teachers applying for an Arkansas teaching license,
the PRAXIS II Special Area Test and the PRAXIS II Principles of Learning
and Teaching scores are required. A Provisional license may be available
for applicants possessing an expired certificate from out of state or to
in-state applicants with program deficiencies (contact Office of Professional

A Provisional License without a master's degree is valid for 6 years. A Provisional License with a master's degree is valid for 10 years. For renewing a license, the teacher must provide documentation showing either 2 years of teaching experience during the previous 6 years or show 6 hours of college coursework completed.
