PRAXIS I CBT (Computer-Based Test) & PRAXIS II (subject specific); an out of state applicant will still have to take these tests starting at any level.

Information about The PRAXIS Series tests
1.Initial Educator Certificate is the first level certificate issued on a 3 year continuum.

2. A Provisional Educator Certificate (after 10 months of experience of Initial & completion of BEST (Beginning Educator Support & Training)) lasts 8 years.

3. Professional Educator Certificate lasts 5 years.
Bachelor's degree, and each district has own set of requirements.
