A Temporary Teaching Certificate lasts for 1 year. If teaching or study experience is not met for a Standard Teaching Certificate then a Limited Standard Certificate may be issued and is valid for 3 years. A Standard Teaching Certificate with specific title according to subject taught is valid for 5 years. A Professional Teaching Certificate lasts for 5 years.
