Two tests are required:
  1. PRAXIS II (Principles of Learning and Teaching Test)
    OR
    NTE (National Teachers Exam Professional Knowledge Test; accepted if taken up to August 1, 1997)
  2. PRAXIS II (Specialty Area Test)
    OR
    NTE (National Teachers Exam Specialty Area Test; accepted if taken up to September 1, 1999)
Information about The PRAXIS Series tests 		The Standard Educator License is valid for 5 years and is renewable with college coursework and/or CEU's depending on specific area expertise on license and desired renewal route. See districts for specific requirements.
