No National tests required. | Initial teacher license is valid for 2 years, may apply for 2-year renewal and 5-year renewal with 18 months teaching experience. | Substitutes must hold a valid North Dakota educator's license based upon same qualifications unless there is a substitute shortage, then these requirements are not necessary. |
