Basis of Study:
A three-year study on the effectiveness of Anytime Anywhere Learning, Microsoft's laptop initiative in which students and teachers have individual access to laptop computers for learning.
Conclusions:
First-year results point to:
  • More project-based, student-centered and individualized teaching styles;
  • Increased collaboration, independent learning and enthusiasm for schooling among students.
