Teacher Universe professional development courses are offered in four different configurations to fit the needs of all educators!

ILT, or Instructor-led Training, courses are taught by Teacher Universe Curriculum Integration Specialists who have extensive experience integrating technology into the classroom. All are former classroom teachers or administrators. Courses include the creation and development of hands-on activities and lesson plans that teachers can use immediately upon return to their classrooms. An extensive array of courses for teachers, administrators, support personnel, and board members are offered through our ILT option.

Web-based courses can be taken 100% on the Internet through the Teacher Universe website. Web-based professional development courses are individualized and easy-to-use, helping administrators and teachers make the most of classroom technology. Support is provided via email, threaded discussion groups, and bulletin boards. Educators take Web-based courses when they want, where they want, and progress at their own pace.

Bridge courses combine the best of our Web-based courses with the best of Instructor-led Training. A Teacher Universe Curriculum Integration Specialist provides onsite, live introduction to Teacher Universe to kick off the training and answer initial questions. Students then proceed to complete the majority of coursework online, via the web. Follow-up days are scheduled to review the students' progress, evaluate their portfolios, and recommend next steps.

TTT, or Train-the-Trainer, courses are designed to turn your current district and school staff into onsite experts in technical support and the integration of technology into the curriculum.
