During the month of March we celebrate Women's History. As a teacher for the past ten years, I've found the most useful and reliable resource dedicated to offering high-quality resources on Women's History is The National Women’s History Project. This non–profit organization provides a tremendous wealth of educational resources dedicated to Women's History.

Take the time over the next few weeks to peruse their resources. Here are some ideas to make the most of your visit to the site.

• With your students take the Women's History Quiz. This short 15 question quiz is a fun introduction to Women's History.
• Check out the lesson ideas under the Learning Place/Teachers Lounge section.
• Create an Internet Scavenger Hunt using the Internet resources available in the Learning Place/Links section.
• Locate a first-person historical portrayal performance in your state at the Learning Place/Costumed Performers area.
• If you have Cable in your classroom, view one of the Intimate Portraits on Lifetime Television. Then use one of the activities (Eleanor Roosevelt) designed just for that episode.
• Review the Online Catalog with Teaching & Activity Kits.

Check it out. It will be time well spent.
