Do you ever have problems getting your computer to work? Of course you do. Everyone does. What about that infamous blue screen? Here's a quick tip to help alleviate "fatal errors" such as the "blue screen of death."

Managing the "Temp" Folder

Make sure you close every application and save files appropriately before opening the temp folder. The temp folder is inside of the Windows folder on your C: drive. Inside you will find a lot of computer-generated nonsense files.

Delete any unwanted files -- it is OK to delete all the contents within this folder (but not the folder itself!). Deleting these files will free up some space on your C: drive, as well as make things run more smoothly. Deleting the contents of the temp folder on a regular basis could make a huge difference for your productivity, especially in the lab or classroom!
